So after battling a horrendous cold for two days which saw me bed bound for most of it, last night though I actually managed to sleep and was surprised that I had forgotten what that was like! This afternoon however I was given a new job at a local computer shop here in Preston. I'm writing product descriptions and selling the items on eBay for the owner, it's good I guess because it's relating to writing in some way so I can put it on my CV as writing experience rather than just shop experience and the more work I get in this area then hopefully I'll be at a better point to start applying for jobs in the publishing industry.
To keep me busy in the meantime I have a pile of books to read for class, books of my own to read and a handful of assignments. I'm procrastinating in a epic form though, I've adopted two virtual pets on my iPhone (Sheldon the puppy and Penny the panda - yes I'm obsessed with the Big Bang Theory), I'm writing again - a YA urban fantasy that deals with LGBT issues, and now this blog for which I "blame" Ruth for encouraging me to set up! We'll see how long that it lasts...!
